About Shaheen

I have been working in the Human Resource arena for 15 years and have a track record of driving change and improving organisational performance. I have been at the forefront of delivering on Inclusion and Diversity to drive cultural change from legacy to new world, creating a workplace that encourages employee engagement and where challenges are overcome, often beyond expectation.

I am lucky enough to have that rare combination of innate intelligence and a highly collaborative collegial style of working. I am a dedicated HR practitioner who takes a balanced approach both in supporting business partners’ strategic goals and the crucially important tactical execution of the day-to-day operational Human Resource support.

I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Politics, a Post-Graduate Degree in Human Resource Management and an Advance Diploma in Personnel Development.  I am also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Coaching is a relationship about trust and establishing a bond between the coach and coachee. I have been told that I am a natural coach. A successful coach needs to be a good listener and be patient – qualities learnt over the years through working in Human Resources.

My varied life experiences allow me to coach naturally, always giving power back to the individual being coached so that he/she may seek the answers themselves. Even though at times the issue(s) may seem obscured or hidden, in my role as a coach, is to help you find the answers and in doing so, discover the truth about yourself.

If you would like to discuss any of the areas below I am happy to discuss. I am not only talking the talk I have walked the walk.

  • Confidence building and self esteem
  • Loving Relationship
  • Family conflicts
  • Career Change
  • Human Resource Coaching and Mentoring
  • Executive coaching
  • Your body, Mind and Soul
  • Self-Identity

Contact me if you would like to discuss your coaching needs.

Inspirational Speaker

We all have an inspirational story to tell. Mine is a mixture of professional and life experiences. From my childhood experiences, my years at school, coming out, my working life and an enforced period away from family and friends and all the moments in between.

I have travelled the world, succeeded in my professional career and lived across two continents. I have experienced heartache, sorrow and grief but I have also been blessed with joy and happiness. I have experienced dark times and the glare of the sun on my face. But one of the things I have learnt is staying on top is hard and the fall (like the one I had) can be devastating not only to oneself but to those around you. There is only one way forward and that is to pick yourself up and carry on.

My future plan is to touch the lives of those that need a bit of a push by telling them my story of success and subsequent fall. I hope to inspire the young and the disadvantaged.

If you would like to book me please email me all donations will go directly to or a charity of your choosing.

I would like to thank so many people but would like to start by thanking my sisters Zarina & Shazia. There love, support and encouragement has meant the world to me without them I would not be able to have done what I am embarking on.

I also want to thank my parents, for there unconditional love and support and faith in me and for the way they have bought us all up. My father always believed in me and stood by me and my mother who has shown courage, strength and purity in the love she has for me.

To Tim for standing by me and for his constant goofiness that has always put a smile on my face, thank you I love you.

To my cousin Zobair – who I love more than he will ever really know, who is more like my brother and my friend. Who whenever thinks got difficult was always a phone call away or would make sure I got on a plane to see him or would arrive at my doorstep. Unexpectedly.

To all the friends and family. They know who they are and the list is too long to mention them all. Thank you –  I love you all.

Thanks also to James Alford for his patience with me while creating the website

Agi Lebiedz from HUSH Pictures, thank you for bringing life to my story when the gaps became unclear. When the images became more important

Also, a thank you to my therapist Holly at the Nightingale Hospital, who has helped me to learn to talk about things and to find a safe space to unburden and heal.

Disclaimer: This is a glimpse into my life. I have made a conscious decision not to go into too much detail. This is so to protect the people close to me and those I love. Some stories and details are left to be told at another time.
